Let's Celebrate Spring

Beltane comes from the Gaelic word meaning 'bright fire'. It is a fire festival that celebrates the height of Spring as we move towards Summer and the fertility of the coming year. This is a celebration to honor nature's incredibly fertile energy at this time of year.

It is often called May Day, communities would gather to celebrate and dance below the maypole. Celebrators also might weave flowers into their hair, or create a floral wreath to wear upon their heads as a celebration of spring.

FAQ's

Is this devil worship or evil?

No, absolutely not. This is a celebration of nature and our part of nature. We are honoring nature that was created by Spirit (God, the Universe, Buddha...). We are all nature.

Do I have to share?

No, not if you do not want to. Coming together as a community is very powerful, but no you do not need to share anything you are not comfortable with.

Can I invite a friend to come with me?

Yes, absolutely. Everyone is welcome. However, please ask them to register for their spot. Please feel free to forward them the information to do so.

What's going to happen?

We are going to come together and share sacred space to celebrate Spring and the birthing of new ideas. This will include meditation, journaling, creating (art), and discussion.
